Lydia Thomas ’24 is from Greensboro, North Carolina. As a Business Administration major, her professional interests include sustainability, educational and professional accessibility, non-profit management and social enterprise. Lydia decided to become a Kenan Scholar as the program aligns with her desire to engage in research and identify tangible and innovative solutions to societal issues.

In addition to being a Kenan Scholar serves as the Arts and Publicity Chair for Striving Toward Educational Prosperity (STEP) at UNC, conducts research for the UNC Impact Investing Club and is an active member in Carolina Women in Business. Her hobbies include baking, hiking, traveling and coffee shop hopping.
