Jules Oringel ’24 is from Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Business Administration and Human Organizational Leadership & Development double major, her professional interests include corporate social responsibility, ESG investing, social entrepreneurship and non-profit management. Jules decided to become a Kenan Scholar because she recognizes the need for meaningful collaboration between sectors in order to solve today’s social, economic and environmental problems.
In addition to being a Kenan Scholar, Jules is an Honors Carolina Scholar, Buckley Public Service Scholar, Will Froelich Honors Fellow and was selected for Girls Life Magazine’s “5 Girls Who Are Changing the World” and Youth Service Americas “Everyday Young Hero.” She is involved in the Honors Carolina Student Association, Pi Beta Phi, Non-profit and Public Sector Club and serves as a UNC Admissions Ambassador. Jules’ hobbies include international travel, politics, playing acoustic guitar, watching college gymnastics and videography.
